Cocktail Hour: A Festive Cocktail Punch for the Holidays
PUBLISHED ON: 12.21.2022
The season from Thanksgiving through the New Year is my favorite time of year. I start off organized, with my checklist, and plan in hand busily moving through the season while enjoying the festive nature of the season. A few days before Christmas and I am feeling like I can’t rub two candy canes together by the end of the day.
If you feel like I do, you may need a recipe idea to serve up this holiday season to ensure you don’t play bartender all evening. This is a delicious and super easy festive cocktail punch to help you enjoy the most wonderful time of the year, and a reason to kick back and enjoy the logs on the fire with family and friends.

Wonderful! It’s like a fancy mimosa! And yes, sometimes you don’t want to be making drinks all night…

This sounds perfect for our small (6 people) New Year’s Eve gathering. We begin our celebration on Paris time (4:00pm here) and will start with your punch and apps. Dinner and New Year’s streamers at 5:00 (midnight London time). We watch a holiday themed movie together with dessert and are usually in bed by 9;30!

A nice festive cocktail to serve with appetizers. I hope you had a nice Christmas Day and wish you a very Happy New Year,
Alan
I normally serve mimosas for Christmas morning brunch, but I took this recipe, eliminated vodka, added a cup of lemonade, simple blackberry garnish and served in champagne glasses. It was a hit! For the kids, no Prosecco and substituted ginger ale. Festive!

Perfect timing as we are hosting a few neighbours and it will be fun to have a house cocktail. Hope you have a happy and healthy new year.

Although a bit late to print this one for holidays, it seems great to make it for any weekend when friends and family arrive during cold days! Thank you and have a Happy New Year!
